This Parakeet Knows How to Talk, Laugh And Play Peek-A-Boo! Talk About Skills!

In a hilarious scenario, a blue ringneck parakeet converses and plays peekaboo with its owner!

Many breeds of parrots can be taught to talk. In fact, many learn on their own by mimicking what they hear their owners say. In a hilarious scenario, a blue ringneck parakeet converses and plays peekaboo with its owner. Indian ringneck parakeets are very loyal and tend to bond with one person living in the household. Ringneck parakeets generally live from 20-25 years and are a medium sized parakeet bird.

The bond is so close that it can sometimes cause some complications as the bird becomes aggressive toward people going to close to “their” person.  These birds also require interaction daily or they tend to revert to a more aggressive wild state. They are very intelligent and playful and this particular blue one demonstrated it this with its owner. The owner, a female woman, has the parakeet on her shoulder.

She greets the bird with a hi, to which he replies, “Hi Cody” as if asking her to greet him by his name.  After several hellos, Cody starts enjoying kisses from its owner saying “thank you” after a kiss. Peekaboo, Cody wants to play this age old infant game. The owner playfully turns her head away to play this silly game. It appears that Cody could play peekaboo endlessly and the owner has incredible patience.
