I Let This Pit Bull Near My Baby And This Is What Happened. A MUST see.

They told me to be careful, but I didn’t listen. I let this put bull near my baby and I could believe what happened next!

This post is about a pit bull named Akamara, a two-year old American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT) who was let near a baby named Siegmund. Born on the 26th November 2014, Siegmund met Akamara on the 27th, but we never leave him alone with her, ever. From what I’ve heard, pit bulls are so loving and caring that she might snuggle my baby to death. According to the United Kennel Club, “The essential characteristics of the American Pit Bull Terrier are strength, confidence, and zest for life. This breed is eager to please and brimming over with enthusiasm. APBTs make excellent family companions and have always been noted for their love of children.” A lot of people told me about locking jaws and anger that surrounds a pit bull almost 24/7, but for some reason, I wasn’t terrified, not until I let Akamara near my baby. This is what happened:

Meet Akamara, the pit bull we rescued when she was just 6 months old. Today she’s two years old, happy, healthy and super loving!

Meet Siegmund, a human baby who’s not terrified being around one of the most misunderstood breeds in history.

As soon as I let her near Siegmund, this is what happened…

Akamara, who supposedly violent, harsh and aggressive, is sleeping soundly near Siegmund…

Akamara just couldn’t resist coming closer to Siegmund…I thought she’d bite and ‘lock her jaws’ she did nothing like that…

Here’s Akamara, all ready to snooze near Siegmund…she didn’t bite, show her aggressiveness or act like the pit bulls other people know. She’s loving, calm and super amazing!
