This rather shy girl went up on stage to sing Barbra Streisand’s classic “Don’t Rain On My Parade” and told the judges, “I have always wanted to perform and to do what I love would be amazing!“
The music starts, the crowd awaited to start to see what she could do and then it happened…
Simon Cowell waited only a few seconds and then cut Jodi’s audition and told her to stop and sing a new song.
Thankfully for Jodi, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Williams defended her performance and told Simon that they would like to hear it till the end, and the electrified audience, together with her Jodi’s mother agreed.
She had a rebuttal against Simon and the other judges even told her to continue…so she did!
